Sushi Puzzle Recipe



Enjoy the fun of assembling the pieces of this sushi puzzle while preparing your own delicious sushi rolls!

Ingredients:

  • 300g sushi rice
  • 350ml water
  • 50ml rice vinegar
  • 30g sugar
  • 5g salt
  • Nori seaweed sheets
  • Assorted sushi fillings e

  • , fish, cucumber, avocado, crab sticks

Instructions:

Run cold water over the sushi rice until the water is clear

In a rice cooker, put the rice and water together and follow the cooker's directions for cooking

Heat rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small saucepan until the sugar and salt are dissolved

This will make sushi vinegar

Put the cooked rice in a large bowl

While the rice is still warm, slowly mix in the sushi vinegar

Put a nori sheet on a sushi mat made of bamboo

Cover the nori with a thin layer of sushi rice, leaving a small edge at the top

In a line down the middle of the rice, add the fillings you want

Roll the sushi tightly from the bottom up using the bamboo mat and light pressure as you roll

Once the nori is rolled up, use a little water to seal the edge

With a sharp knife, cut the sushi roll into small pieces that are easy to eat

Do it again with the rest of the ingredients

Put the sushi on a plate and serve it with wasabi, soy sauce, and pickled ginger
